Summer Vacation

In June Buddy and I took a trip to Switzerland. This was really out of our norm for trips. We have usually either gone camping not too far away or visit family. So this was truly an adventure for us. We went with a great group of people in our area. Here we are at the longest glacier in the Alps atop the Jungfraujoch.

This is a place called the Ice Palace. It is a big ice cave-even the floor is ice so we did some sliding around. There were ice sculptures in there too. It was awesome!

t This is one of the many beautiful places we saw. It's the Lauterbrunnen Valley below. A few years ago the view from here was used on the Rand McNally world atlas. The views were breath-taking!

DEREK'S HOME !!!

DEREK'S HOME!!!
He arrived home from his Australia Perth Mission on Aug. 23rd. Within a week he heads to BYUI in his loaded truck. Buddy took a weeks vacation to go with him. (I wish I could have gone!!!) He didn't have time to recoop much. He'll have to do it at school. Here we are at the McCarren Airport. Derek is getting reacquainted with family and friends.

We all just can't believe Derek is standing before our eyes! He said he felt like it was a dream being all together again.

We all chit-chat while we wait for Derek's luggage. Enjoying every moment!!

Derek finally makes his home!

This is a family shot at the airport. Tolboe's and Morgans came too.

Derek with Dad and Mom.

This brought tears to all our eyes as he hugged Grandpa Williams. How blessed we are they he was able to come to the airport to see him.

Derek is coming down the escalators on the right. He's the one in a suit. I simply couldn't believe he was actually there!!! He was the only missionary that came in. The other people probably thought we were crazy because of our screaming, crying and our 3 big signs.

It's a good thing you can't see my face because I cried like a baby! Derek certainly held it all together. Doesn't he look great!

Buddy and I rarely have our picture taken together but here's one. Yes, we are aging I'm afraid. Buddy just had his 55th birthday and I'm not far behind him. Where does the time go?

Reciently Tori, Ella and I took a quick trip to visit Kelli, Cam and Allie. We had so much fun just spending time together. Tori is playing with Allie. Allie got a bunch of "Vegas" necklaces when we went to garage sales the last time they were here. It's so fun to watch her play with them!

Ella is getting her bath while visiting Kelli and Cam.
As you can tell on her face, she is so relaxed and loves the water.
What a cutie!

Allie loves watching Aunt Tori give Ella a bath.
There's my cute grand daughters!

I asked Allie to smile for me. This is her BIG smile!

The last time Chris, Shelly and Logan came to visit I
took this picture of Logan eating his breakfast.
I couldn't resist that cute smile!

Cutter, our dog and Lucy, Dave and Tori's dog love to play in the water at Lake Mead. Cutter could gobble Lucy in one bite but he doesn't. They really enjoy each other's company. It's so fun to watch them play.
